Please Allow Me to Rant

I am generally, a happy person. BUT, we have our feelings, and our feelings make our moods. Thus, allow me to rant a little bit.

I attended an event last night to which, after multiple meetings and several discussions, I was told to be coordinating with another person to head the party program activities. I may be silent with the idea, but I was then toying with a number of things in my mind to make the party fun. And on the morning before the event, I was told that the other person was making a list with the third person. Fine by me, at least more heads are gonna think of ways on how to make the party more lively.

During the night of the party, the program was turned over to us, but when asked who leads the night away, it was mentioned that it's the second person and sad to say, the third person (who wasn't supposed to be part of it and never even attended meetings) mentioned another person and not me.

Bummer, yes! So I left the table where they were talking about their plans and wouldn't want to be part of it anymore.

I got really pissed off, like Hello? I am here! *wave, wave* Am I invisible to you? I just don't think it was the third person's right to mention another person when she was in fact not even supposed to be part of it. I only allowed her to be in on it because she was the second person's staunch ally.

That instance ruined my night and my mood generally changed, but I still did not forget how to smile and make a fun night out of it. Well, it was over and done with. The best memory of it all, I was left out of my part. Haha! It wouldn't make sense if I make a scene, right? So I just, well, I quietly left.

Lesson learned: Iwasan ang mga mahilig umepal.

Well, as I have said, I am generally a happy person, so things are happy again. Past is past. And yes, I don't keep a grudge. I just want to get this thing off my heart 'coz it's kinda' heavy.

Happy na ulit! Merry Christmas sa lahat!

I liked the positivity. It's expected to get pissed initially, but just charge that to experience. Don't waste your energy on them.

i hear you, sheng.
and here's one saying that it's normal and perfectly fine to rant (even most of the time if you wish).

on a lighter note, natawa ako sa lesson learned mo na "bawal umepal" just want to share to you that epal here in malaysia is bahasa melayu's term for apple.
mahilig ka ba sa mansanas? hehe
