A New Mailbox, That's what I Need

Thanks to people who have been loving me and giving me inspiration through their blogs and through their lives. I am just happy that you have been supportive of me in my new level of blogging and for considering my concept of university blogging, I am glad that you consider me as your classmate, thanks so much because this made me feel so accepted, teehee...

Over the past few months that I was so busy with the move to the new house, I have also received lots of blog love from blogger friends in our in-laws' mailbox. This made me ecstatic knowing that I am just so loved.

First off, Jane Austen awarded me this because I have been reading her novels... The Jane Austen Book Club hosted by the beautiful and so generous Jo of Wits and Nuts had a giveaway contest for reading and blogging about what we have read. Pride and Prejudice, the last of the novels we have to read made me claim this prize. Ahhhh, lovely goodies. Thanks Jo!


It was the curly girl's blogoversary, and I am glad that after commenting some happiness her way, the randomizer chose me as recipient of this Tech Tote Tutti Frutti bag, just cool for my mini note, a little bigger but just enough that i could fit everything in it, plus the manuscripts I have been editing. Goodness, one bag alone, and I am ready to go... Thanks to J of The Girl With a Curl.

My old mailbox getting these is one proof that I have friends and I am loved, so I just thought that since we have moved to the new house, and we only go home there during the night, and I have no one to get the mails for me when the mailman comes, i'd rather get a new mailbox for me in the new house. What do you think?

We went to Lake Sebu last Saturday to celebrate my brother's 16th birthday, and while on our way to witness the majestic falls, we were already planning to drop by Surallah to check out their most famous cultural landmark, the round ball. I do not really know how it was named the Round Ball since it seems so redundant to be called as such but to question it, honestly, won't give you much intelligent answer as we also have round balls in Koronadal City and General Gantos City. It was a beautiful Saturday morning when we visited Kinilis, in Polomolok. I was with Nanards and two visiting friends from Davao City, Emi, and her American husband, Joshua. They wanted to go see the kafe balos because it has been very famous now, and they wanted to invest into the business. Sir Fred mentioned there was a tribal wedding that very day so it was a fortunate day for us to witness something different, a customary tribal wedding rite. We went inside the house for they explained to us that the traditional B'laan wedding is being held inside the house of the bride where the couple has to sit on a mat and surrounded by relatives and witnesses.
