Compassion - his way of saying it

Rescue, relief, re-establishment.

These three are the things needed by our friends in Luzon. They may have suffered a lot because of Ondoy's aftermath, but life must go on. Who are we to question God? It is up to us on how we must pick up our lives after every fall, and how we deal with it.

Compassion is a human emotion prompted by the pain of others. More vigorous than empathy, the feeling commonly gives rise to an active desire to alleviate another's suffering.

So is this Manny Villar's way of showing compassion to a suffering nation? Or is this his way of sharing his campaign materials. Sorry senator, I just don't think this came out right, albeit proper.

hi sheng! i watched a segment on the news questioning the intentions of the "presidentiables" helping the victims of typhoon ondoy.

it said that there will always be questions and doubt surrounding the sincerity of these politicians, as i agree. but, the report continues, we will never know what their real intentions are. the important thing is help is still help.

i guess deep inside, these politicians really want to help. sino ba naman ang hindi mahahabag na makita ang ating mga kababayan na naghihirap [si mikey arroyo lang siguro ang hindi] diba? however, i think somehow they're inclined to use the situation [of them helping] for their gain. kung baga gusto naman talaga nila tumulong, eh di gamitin na din ang pagkakataon para sa kampanya. :)

Sa pag observe ko wise na ngayon ang mga tao sa pagboto. Nasa puso pa rin nila ang binoboto nila. Kaya grab lang ng grab. hehehe. Ang second photo ay sina Gerald Anderson at kapatid nila. Pilipino kaya natin to.

I agree with KG. For now, let's just read it simply as a genuine help. Nakakaasar lang yung isang napanood ko sa Unang Hirit yesterday na merong nagpadala ng bottled waters na may picture ng politician (but they didn't mention), but when it was tested positive sa e.coli. =(

that is pretty lame. i dunno, i think villar cud do better than that. pero to be fair, baka naman gawa-gawa lang yan ng kalaban nya kasi madli naman gawin yan eh.

glad ur safe, let us pray that this things dont happen again.

At a time like this, kahit anung tulong ok na, kahit pa politically motivated, kahit napilipt lang sila, basta kumilos sila at tumulong.

well, hayaan nlng nga natin muna. nakaakinis man eh pabayaan nlng since food narin yan para sa mga nasalanta. i just hope the presidentiables send these with their most sincere intentions.

the second photo reminds me of my own experience though hindi sa amin ang baha pero tumulong kami sa ibang bahay sa kabilang village. nakilangoy na rin sa baha.
