Cotabato Flood Victims

If your heart does not cry for this,

or this,

and this...

I don't know what will.

Remember then, to always count your blessings...
For you are more blessed than they are.

Taken last Sunday, on my very first visit to Cotabato City, braving the roads through Maguindanao and the ARMM areas. Heart pounding passing through the barangays where everywhere you look, you see peace-keeping forces.

What is more painful is the fact that these floodings happen on a regular basis and the government is not doing anything to solve, or at least, alleviate the problems.

I used to live in an area in Manila where flooding is a constant nightmare whenever it rains. To this day, nothing has changed except for the worse.

minsan sa simpleng hirap umaangal na ako...para akong ginising sa mga photo.
magpasalamat parin tayo kung anong meron tayo.
hope na may magmagandang loob sa mga nasalanta ng baha.
