Weekly Photo Challenge: Escape!

Image
My very idea of Escape is bringing the entire family to a place where water is cool, the place is serene and there's nothing but Nature to surround us. Visiting this place amazed me so much that I would really like to go back to this place again and again. Bluish green water to describe the thought of Aquamarine, this water is very clean in favor of the enchanting fishes that visit the river every midday. They come to be fed and escape thereafter. If there's one place I'd like to escape to, it's the Hinatuan Enchanted River. Oh and yes, it's a river.

Visiting the Cold Tinuy-an Falls in Bislig, Surigao del Sur

Image
It was a beautiful sight. Although not as grandiose as that one we visited in Hinatuan, but all the same, it was a God-given natural environment where water seems to spring from everywhere. Tinuy-an Falls is located in Bislig, Surigao del Sur. Another proof that Mindanao is very rich with the wonders of nature.    Called the Philippine's Little Niagara Falls by many because of its three-tiers. The cold crisp air remains all throughout the day.    Bislig in Surigao del Sur, where Tinuy-an Falls is located is said to be 2 kilometers short of the 160 kilometers (one way) we have traveled back and ...

A Quick Visit to Hinatuan Enchanted River

My recent trip to Butuan City for attending the Basic Employment Services Training Workshop for 5 full days also brought me to Hinatuan, Surigao del Sur. The land trip may have been hellish but it was the road to a heavenly enchanting Hinatuan River. Its blue waters is what makes it enchanting, not to mention the large and small fishes which as they say, have never been caught by anyone, ever. These large fishes swim their way towards the crystal clear bluish but deeper part of the lagoon where at 12 noontime, they are being fed by caretakers of the place. The lagoon is part of Hinatuan River where it connects to the open Pacific Sea.  The water is a mixture of fresh and saltwater, since it is a river, and as mentioned, a connection towards the Pacific Ocean. It has deep blue color on the deeper part of the lagoon, while it has the perfect aquamarine hue...
