Panibagong Adjustment

 Change is constant, so they say.  A new Assistant Regional Director has come our way after that Ma'am Fhat has become full-fledged, it is but natural and common in the organization that they get transferred to different regions.  And for me, that is a sign of a new adjustment.  I don't know him personally but people say he was mabait. He is. Silent but cheerful.  I do not know what to do of his character, I cannot read him yet, but I hope he will carry us through a different kind of management, one with integrity and honesty and one that serves the people more than that who serves the politician.  It's quite a busy state here in the office, and I am going nuts about things, but I pray that things will be better soon, and that my health does not fail me. So help me God.

Kalilangan 2010 - Kadsagayan Street Dancing

Honoring the Past, Understanding the Present, Embracing the Future Kalilangan is derived from the rootword “Kalilang” which means festivities, jubilation and celebration. It is a Maguindanaon word which connotes unity and gathering of leaders, tribes, and families. Kalilangan celebrates colors, ethnicity, thanksgiving. There's actually more that depicts Kalilangan, and we here in General Santos City celebrates Kalilangan for a lot of reasons we are thankful for. It is also the 71st Foundation Anniversary of General Santos City. And I am so proud to say that I celebrated this year's Kalilangan with awesome friends and visitors. Famous Cultural Landmark in Surallah, South Cotabato

We went to Lake Sebu last Saturday to celebrate my brother's 16th birthday, and while on our way to witness the majestic falls, we were already planning to drop by Surallah to check out their most famous cultural landmark, the round ball. I do not really know how it was named the Round Ball since it seems so redundant to be called as such but to question it, honestly, won't give you much intelligent answer as we also have round balls in Koronadal City and General Gantos City. Actually a rotunda, but ever since has been called the Round Ball. Unveiled last March 15, 2011, it’s towering, obelisk-like central piece of a 2-string lute points straight to heaven , silhouetted by the blue sky at more than 60 feet above the ground. Called he’galong by indigenous T’bolis, the slim lute seemingly grows from the core of a huge, endemic , bulb plant bohong, the elongated leaves of which spread out in radial fashion .
