You Remember Tarzan?

No, this isn't Tarzan, the jungle guy I am talking about. I'm talking about that bubble gum brand that you were chewing when you were a kid. 

This gum used to accompany me in my travels because as parents would say, chewing a gum during travels won't hurt your ears. Scientifically true, and this is what my granny used to send me during times of long distance travels. 

Oh you remember! That's good. Do you also remember that time when you were playing with friends and you compete on how big the gum would go if you make a bubble out of it? Funny eh? But it sure was FUN, right? The fun is made more challenging by the fact that your friend is chewing Bazooka Joe, something imported, while you are on your teeth with Tarzan.

Of course I remember the times when I have to ask my granny to remove a portion of my hair because it was covered in the gum that popped right on my face, thanks to the game we played. 

I am sure you remember. Tell me, are you a Bazooka Joe or a Tarzan fan?

not a chewing gum fan since childhood, but i do remember this brand. i forgot all about it until you posted it here.

We went to Lake Sebu last Saturday to celebrate my brother's 16th birthday, and while on our way to witness the majestic falls, we were already planning to drop by Surallah to check out their most famous cultural landmark, the round ball. I do not really know how it was named the Round Ball since it seems so redundant to be called as such but to question it, honestly, won't give you much intelligent answer as we also have round balls in Koronadal City and General Gantos City. The First Ever Traditional B'laan Wedding Ritual I Witnessed

It was a beautiful Saturday morning when we visited Kinilis, in Polomolok. I was with Nanards and two visiting friends from Davao City, Emi, and her American husband, Joshua. They wanted to go see the kafe balos because it has been very famous now, and they wanted to invest into the business. Sir Fred mentioned there was a tribal wedding that very day so it was a fortunate day for us to witness something different, a customary tribal wedding rite. We went inside the house for they explained to us that the traditional B'laan wedding is being held inside the house of the bride where the couple has to sit on a mat and surrounded by relatives and witnesses.
